41st Annual Walk-a-Thon

The Lake Park Elementary Annual Walk-A-Thon has been taking place each year since 1985. This is Lake Park Elementary’s biggest fundraiser for the year and is a lot of fun for everyone.
All students receive an official tote bag and t-shirt. Students raise funds by collecting pledges, while local business owners, teachers, and families donate items for the silent auction and/or donate to be a t-shirt sponsor.
On the day of the event, LPE Panther Families gather to walk through the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, then return to campus to participate in fun activities and concessions while bidding on silent auction items or donating towards specific needs at the Fund-A-Need booth. We invite you to become a Walk-A-Thon sponsor by donating an auction item, becoming a t-shirt sponsor or making a monetary donation.
SILENT AUCTION
The Walk-a-thon Silent Auction has something for everyone this year, with many new and exciting themed baskets, unique experiences, and local gift cards. Be sure to check out the most sought after items of the auction- Gifts from the Heart. The auction is OPEN for bidding from February 14th at 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. on February 22nd. All friends and family near and far are welcome to bid, but items must be picked up from Lake Park!
TICKETS
Please purchase your tickets ahead of time. The event website lists what is included in a courtyard pass. Sets of 10 tickets are also available for individual activities, meals, ice cream, and extra trips up the rock wall. Tickets purchased ahead of time will be waiting for you at will call.

PTO needs many hands to make this event the biggest and best yet. Parents, please consider giving us 30 minutes of your time while your kids have fun with a friend. We also love grandparent volunteers!
